We have a need to grow our team with an additional CNC Programmer based in our Santa Ana, California office.

As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be tasked with working directly with different 3, 4, and 5 Axis mills and multi-axis lathes. You’ll interface with management, machinists, and operators to optimize machining programs and procedures. Your work results, including quality and output, will be key factors in your evaluation. Responsibilities:
- Use of Mastercam and Esprit programs to program CNC Mills and Lathes
- Generate Tool Lists, Work Instructions and Set Up sheets with pictures if necessary into digital ERP system and based on Company’s templates
- Assist in planning jobs by taking into account machine capabilities, capacity and machinist skill levels
- Assist in preparing approved internal drawings via the company’s digital systems (High QA)
- Help Leads, Supervisors and Management drive use and implementation of digital ERP system (ProShop) and other digital technologies.
- Offer suggestions to improve manufacturability of parts
- Program fixtures and tooling as needed to hold and complete machining of parts
- Work to meet productivity and On Time Delivery goals
- Provide consistent ideas for process improvements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience with Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi Controller and lathes
- 5+ years of Mastercam and Esprit (preferred) CNC Lathe programming experience
- Knowledge of advanced tooling technologies and approach
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems AS9100 and GD&T
- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
- Must be a flexible team player willing and able to assist in areas outside of Programming to ensure a clean and productive working environment
- Must be professional, polite and cooperative with all other departments
